What to know about cancellation policies, insurance options, and next steps.


 

 How to Start a Cancellation Request

 The Room Manager on the reservation must contact Destify directly to begin the cancellation process.

 Cancellations cannot be submitted through the dashboard. To receive the official cancellation form, the Room Manager must contact us using one of the following methods:

 Once the form is requested, we will provide the Room Manager with the cancellation documentation needed to proceed.


 How Reservation Cancellations Work

 As outlined in our Terms and Conditions at the time of booking, Destify reservations are:

  • Non-refundable

  • Non-transferable

  • Not open for modification within 30 days of travel unless travel protection insurance was purchased

 You can review the full policy at any time in your booking confirmation or Terms and Conditions.


 If You Purchased Travel Insurance

 If you purchased travel insurance through a third-party provider, we recommend contacting them directly to see if you qualify for reimbursement or compensation based on your situation.

 If you paid with a credit card, some cards include travel insurance benefits. You may also contact your card provider to confirm coverage.

 If your insurance provider or credit card requires your reservation to be canceled first, please let us know and we can assist with the cancellation process.

 Important Cancellation Deadline

 If you choose to cancel, the request must be submitted before your scheduled check-in time of 4:00 PM EST on your arrival date.

 Once a reservation is canceled, the cancellation is final and cannot be reversed.

 Delayed Arrival Instead of Cancellation

 If there is a possibility that you can still arrive later or stay for part of your trip, please let us know. We can notify the resort of your delayed arrival so they are aware and can hold your reservation accordingly.

 Before We Proceed

  To move forward with a cancellation, please confirm in writing that you would like your reservation canceled. Once confirmed, we will process the request and provide final documentation.


Important Reminder

While Destify works closely with resorts, all properties are independently operated. Refunds or compensation are never guaranteed without valid insurance coverage, and all claims or reimbursements are ultimately determined by the resort or insurance provider.
