Understanding Your Flexible Booking Agreement

Planning a group trip or destination wedding can be complex, but understanding your agreement's terms can make it smoother. Destify offers flexible group booking options and price match procedures to provide clarity and convenience to our guests.

Summary of Flexible Group Booking Terms and Price Match Procedures

Flexible Group Booking Terms:

  1. Room Reservations:

    • No rooms are held in advance. Guests must confirm their booking through Destify's Guest Dashboard to secure a room and rate.
  2. Deposits and Payments:

    • Guests must create their own reservations and pay a non-refundable deposit of $150 per person for hotel-only bookings. For packages including airfare, the deposit covers the full flight and hotel costs. Deposits are non-refundable unless insurance is purchased.
    • Guests are responsible for completing payments on their reservations.
    • Payments can be made in any amount at any time, with full payment due 65 days prior to the trip.
  3. Booking Flexibility:

    • Guests can book a minimum of three nights and any additional nights, depending on availability. Minimum night requirements may vary during holidays.
    • Rates can change until deposits are received, but Destify will seek the lowest available price.
  4. Modifications and Cancellations:

    • Modified reservations will reflect current supplier pricing, with any rate changes communicated before confirmation.
    • If the wedding date changes outside the original dates, penalties may apply for rebooking.
    • 80% of wedding guests must stay on the property for the minimum required nights.
  5. Additional Services and Requests:

    • Round-trip airport transfers are not included but can be booked through a third party via Destify.
    • Specific resort requests like bedding and room location are not guaranteed but reserved room categories are.
    • In extreme circumstances, such as resort closures, Destify will work to accommodate date changes.
  6. Wedding Package Changes:

    • Any upgrades or downgrades to wedding packages should be communicated to the Group Leader Specialist.

Price Match Procedures:

  1. Eligibility:

    • Price matches are allowed at the time of booking and only once.
    • It must be submitted on the same day as the deposit.
  2. Conditions:

    • If the reservation is changed after a price match, the original price match is void, and the current rate applies.
    • Price matches must be from a US-based online travel agency (e.g., Priceline, Expedia).
    • Required details include hotel name, travel dates, number of occupants, room category, and a timestamped screenshot of the check-out screen price. Airfare details must include the class of service if included in the price match.
  3. Terms:

    • Price match terms must be applied to the booking, which may require full payment or a higher deposit.
    • Price matching is not available within 30 days of travel.
