Transfer Issues

Transfers are scheduled transportation services between the airport and your resort. While they usually run smoothly, issues can occasionally happen. Below is what to do if your transfer does not appear or if you miss it.


 

 If Your Transfer Does Not Show Up

 If you cannot find your transfer representative or vehicle at the airport:

  1. Check your travel documents to confirm your transfer company name and instructions.

  2. Look for signage with the transfer company logo.

  3. Visit the airport transportation desk and ask for assistance locating your provider.

  4. Contact the transfer company directly using the phone number in your documents.

  5. Call Destify Guest Experience for support if you are unable to reach the provider.

 Do not leave the airport without confirming your options, as many transfers are location-specific.


 If You Miss Your Transfer

 If you miss your scheduled transfer due to flight delays, customs delays, or personal timing:

  • Contact the transfer company immediately to see if they can reschedule you.

  • If rescheduling is not possible, you may need to arrange alternate transportation, such as a taxi or private shuttle.

  • Keep your receipts, as some providers may allow reimbursement review depending on the situation.

 If Your Transfer Is Late

 Transfers may occasionally be delayed due to traffic, weather, or airport congestion. If your transfer is more than 20 to 30 minutes late:

  • Contact the transfer company directly.

  • Notify Destify Guest Experience. We may be able to assist with tracking the driver or help get a claim started for you. Please note that the transfer companies are not owned or operated by Destify. 


 Important Notes

  • Transfers are typically shared unless requested and paid for.

  • Private transfers must be used at the scheduled time provided.

  • Missed transfers are not always refundable. You may need to find alternative transportation via taxi or seperate shuttle service. You may be able to be reimbursed for the additional charges. 

  • Transfer times are based on your confirmed flight information, so any flight changes should be reported as soon as possible.
